Thanks rreis. Sorry about that, I was typing about one thing and thinking of another!!! It is a kyosho. So, you went to 10 cells and that gave it enough to get it of the ground? What are you using for speed controls? Thanks.

That was on the T-33 jet not the Lear. I used 30 amp with the
AP 29L motor.
Not an expert on dual motors, but I believe your friend only needs
one ESC around 40 amps and a single 10 or 12 cell 2400 mah pack for both motors.
