Can I use my Peak Charger For...
I have a "BlackWidow Pro, ProMax" Peak Charger and I want to know if I can use this charger to charge the following batteries for...
1.) GWS Pico Tiger Moth (Battery: 6-cell, 7.2V, 110mAh NiCd - Bought the recommended flight pack)
2.) HobbyZone Firebird Commander (Battery: 6-cell, 7.2V, 900mAh Ni-MH)
My Peak Charger will charge both NiCd & NiMh from 1A - 4A and 4-8 cell packs, 500 to 3000mAH capapcity
Please help!
Thanks,
Nick

Look at the specs you gave for the charger - it answers your question.
It will charge the Firebird pack (use the 1 amp setting) but not the Tiger Moth pack. You want to charge MOST batteries at a 1 - 1.5 C rate. IE - your 900 mah pack is .9 C (point 9), so the 1 amp rate will be ok. If you are using LiPo batteries, that is something entirely different.

RE: Can I use my Peak Charger For...
I guess that's why I was asking...
I didn't know the formula, figuring that mAh would be fine but I would set it to 4amps and most likely ruined the battery.
So I take 1 - 1.5, multiply by mAh to = amps to use?
Let's take my 3000mAh battery...
1.5 X 3 = 4.5amps so charging this battery @ 4amps would be safe. Right? Or am I confused?
Thanks Campy!
