I have one plane that uses a NICAD and one that uses a Ni metal.

sorry about that.. did not get it all typed before I hit the POST button.

I have two ARF's... one uses a Nicad.. the other a NiMH.

I went to charge my Nicad yesterday.. and the charger was still set on NiMH...will that hurt my Nicad battery? Will it be fully charged when i go to use it? Should I drain it and rechard on the proper setting on the charger?

Won't hurt the nicad. Just fly it.
If you charge the nimh on the nicad setting it might hurt the nimh.
The charger may not detect the peak and just keep on charging.
