Help, what is this plane? Proper CG?
What is this plane?
I purchased at a swap meet with no documentation:
W/S 31.5"
White Foam
Vac formed canopy and tray.
Has 170 motor in it (IPS DX motor w/ 3x2 GWS prop -- but don't know if that came standard)
Main questions: What plane is it, and where is the recommended Center-of-gravity?
Thanks in advance to all.

Nice wing you got there.
I am not sure on this one but... I would look at the area of highest lift and put the CG just slightly forward of that to try to keep a decent glide slope in case you should come in "Dead Stick".
As for determining the highest area of lift. I'd check online to see if theres a calc function based on the camber and foil of the wing itself.
Sorry if this didnt help just throwing out some ideas.

Go to this site.
http://www.palosrc.com/instructors/cg.htm
Take the measurments the computations need..
Use a 15% c.g. for the first flights. (The %mac box.)

Yes I did get this at the Midwest swap meet in Northville.
Got it for $15 or $20 -- was a nice deal.

PS to Paul and AV8 thanks for your help, I will go to the website and calculate it from there...
