Default Air Whistles.....

has anyone tryed any of these air whistles that go on an r/c plane ??..i wonder how loud they are..and if they can be heard from a significant distance...i think they just attach to a r/c plane..and the wind from flying makes them work...

duct tape and a ref/coach whistle? if nothing else it would be worth a laugh! (and even better if you have a scale corsair...)

A friend of mine has some whistles on a coroblaster. Who know's if their the same one's your talking about.... his works well at high speeds, but not very effective at a slow speed. I would guess they start making good noise around 45mph and up. If put on something like a slow flyer I don't think they'd make any noise at all.

Rumme,

Check the Air Whistles here. Two sizes for faster/slower airspeeds. Also click on the video of the whistles flying on a 60 size plane. Same video also has the Air Screamer siren in action.

I bought a nerf vortex football, just for the whistles. Waiting on my dogs to tear it up so I can take the whistles off and install on my SAPAC Jas-39.
