Default IS THIS A GOOD DEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Hey guys I was in the local hobby shop this week and met up with one of my buddies, he has a Eflite JR Ultimate Bipe Foamy(you know the yellow and white one), and he said something about he wanted to sell it,, here is what he has and what I offered and I am supposed to pick it up this week, First off I don't need his tranny he has a Hitec 4channel tranny but I have a JR 8103 I can put this on,,, anyway here is his setup,, The JR Eflite Ultimate, Phoenix Creations 25 amp ESC, Eflite Brushless 400 motor and props, Complete Hitec Micro flight pack, 3cell lipo battery, and mindyou that all of this has only about 6 flights on it,,,,, and I offered him 260 dollars less his tranny, I can just buy a crystal to work on my 8103, is this a decent price, or any comments,,,

<scratch my original response>
Eflite 400 brushless ~ $70
Eflite Ultimate ~ $50
Phoenix 25 ~ $80
Servos ~ $45
Receiver ~ $45
Just guessing on some of these, but it's about $290. Maybe more or less. It's probably not a bad deal. Search the on-line stores for prices like Tower Hobbies, Hobby Lobby, Hobby People, etc.

John, did you come by my table at the BARKS meet to ask about the chrystal working in your reciever? IMO the speed controller and servo price was steeper than I am used to.

BiPed $50
EFL400 $55
Phnx25 $75
Hitech Micro Flt Pack $65 (the Feather RX is famous for glitching)
LiPo $25-45, depending on what cellcount/brand/etc.

How much is it worth to you?

Your'e getting closer try an eflite 20A for $42. And you don't have to set it up for low voltage and soft start, just plug and play

Beware that if he was using a Hitec transmitter, the receiver won't work with your JR 8103. Different shift.

Yes I found this out today, I new it but I didn't think about it at the moment so I am just going to buy a Electron 6 with JR shift and sell the Futaba/Hitec Electron that is in it, and I did buy it so I think I did all right if it works good I will probrably take everything out of it and put in Chip Hydes Bipe electric, I am going buy the LHS today and try and buy a receiver, I can't wait to fly it,,,,[:-]
