Default very important battery help plz!

ive been looking 4 ages for a 1200mah 7.4v 2 cell lipo and there is not much around so i was wondering if i increase the mah or decrease by 200 - 300 for example could i get a 7.4v 1500mah or a 1050mah? also how much would it affect the power that i get? It would b better to get bigger and im pretty sure my esc can handle a bigger battery as its a 25a brushed, can i do this or do i really need a 1200mah???

Default RE: very important battery help plz!

mAh refers to the batters capacity. the voltage is the amount of power it can put out. A 7.4v 1050mah and a 7.4v 1500mah will put out the same power for the most part. (the difference being that more amps can be drawn from the bigger battery)
In other words, the more mah, the longer the battery will last.

also, check outKokam batteries at FMA direct. Im pretty sure kokam has a 7.4v 1200mah, but I could be wrong
