RE: What do you use YOUR broken props for?
When I have broken props I use them to mix epoxy as well. I didn't break any props for years until I got into these foamies. Now it seems I break those flimsy props atleast once a month.

I use the end with the hub as a prop nut wrench
I use any blade end to slide between the hooks and the fuzz on velcro to get out batterys and receivers.

RE: What do you use YOUR broken props for?
I now REUSE all my broken props..thats right..and I know what your thinking,,,"THATS DANGEROUS" ..but Ive been doing it now for several weeks and havent had 1 mishap..I personally got tired of ordering props at $2 a piece and paying shipping costs..not to mention the wait for them to arrive..I have found a small tube of superglue does wonders to put a broken prop back together..I always start my planes motor withe the front section out in front of me anyways ..so if one did happen to fly apart..I would not be in its trajectory..im surely not telling others to do this repair..but for me...I will be doing it all the time..and saving alot of $$$ at the end of the year...

I put mine back together with Ambroid Proweld. It melts the plastic and "welds" it together. Never had a problem and I never let anyone stand in line with my props spinning anyway.

I've never broken a prop before because so far all i have is a "pusher" plane. Hehehehe. I hear that the props one the Wattage Micro Flyer break a lot so I guess this weekend, once my WMF arrives via UPS, than I'll tell ya how my maiden goes...and how much damage my plane will have once I'm done with it.

I got mine at Hobby Lobby. The big chain hobby stores that sell all kinds of hobby stuff, not the Flying Hobby stores. I don't know if they are owned by the same folks or not. Another brand is Plastruct Plastic Weld. It will only work on the orange props, best I can tell. This stuff will glue ABS, Styrene, Butyrate and Acrylic (Lucite or Plexiglas). I was amazed that it would weld Plexiglas. I didn't think anything would do that. It melts the plastic allowing it to flow together, making a solid bond. The Plastruct I got at a local Train hobby shop. They sold it to glue the plastics for making buildings, scenery, etc.
