Default how motors stack up ...

is a ap29l better than 480bb on 9 cells or is mpi 11t better or 540 what is an ap29l comparable to?
i want to use it in a 3d type plane that says they used a 540.

According to Motocalc data the AP29L has a slightly higher Kv but, on the other hand, it weighs almost 2oz more (5.5 rather than 3.7) so I'd guess the 480BB probably gives the better performance.

I'd suggest you go to www.motocalc.com and download the 30-day trial and try some numbers for yourself to see what motor is best for your application.
