About 1.5, Very fixable.
Tall Paul's rates somewhere around a 9. Not a 10 due only to the fact the tail is still recognizable.
(Must have been pretty spectacular!)

Only a 1.5??? I've gotta try harder I guess.
I'm so tired of breaking tails on these things. I made one out of coroplast for my firebird , I think thats what I'm gonna do for the commander too. The coroplast is way more durable.

It was actually a slow process. I just finally nose dived it resulting in the damage. I wish there was some way to protect the nose of these a little better.

Best way to protect the nose is to not land on it.
"Fixing stuff" is learned by breaking stuff. Just like any other skill, it takes practice.

It was!
The wings folded in a dive, and fluttered to the ground.. were repaired and flew again.
They used 1/8"x1/4" spruce top and bottom spars, vertically.
You could how the upper spar on the left wing had bowed before it snapped by the way the wing ribs were broken in half along the grain just below
the spar notch.
I replaced the ribs doubled up the spar where it had snapped. Wing went to a long but less eventful life on a glider, carrying a camera, both as a sloper and TD. (photo)
The fuselage came down with that whistling noise you hear from a bomb.. but no explosion at the arrival.. Just silence.
I sent the receiver and servos back to Futaba, who replaced them all at 1/2 price.
The fuselage was trimmed aft of the wing, and a new nose grafted on, and it flew again, with an OS 15 for power.
