Help With Chargers, Quick please.
Hey, I just ordered the Park Zone SUper Decathlon. It comes with this charger:
http://www.horizonhobby.com/Shop/ByC...ProdID=HBZ1026
I want to use my AC plugs in my house to charge, not a car ( Im not old enough to drive!!!)
Can I use any AC/DC converter? Will this one work:
http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProdu...duct_Id=152549
It says its for cell phones, but it converts AC to DC, but is all DC the same? Will it work with a 1.2 amp charger, even though it only puts out 0.5A DC? If it wont work, anyone know an AC/DC converter that will work?
Thanks a bunch, I want to order one now, lol.

Yes it will work, However, it only has an output of .5a and your charger is capable of 1.2a. It will just take a while to charge depending on the batteries capacity. I remember seeing one that allowed 2a. I will see if I can find it.

Just looked at the Parkzone package. The battery is a 600mah pack. So essentially you are only loosing .1a. The difference in charge time wont be noticable in my opinion.

RE: Help With Chargers, Quick please.
it says to charge those Park Zone batteries at 0.9A, so I would be charging at almost half that, and they say it takes 40 min at 0.9 A, so it will take 1 hour 10 min at 0.5.
I am buying from ebay and I seen othe AC/DC adapters that have an output of 2A. I will link them, but the charger wil only use 0.9A, thats ok though, right?
EDIT:
how bout this:

Found another just like that for $10, I think Ill get it. 6 Amps.
