RE: How many channels?
If by 4 servos you mean 2 for ailerons, 1 for elevator, and 1 for the rudder then you need a 4 channel receiver minimum.
For the 2 aileron servos you will need a y-harness to connect them to the recievers aileron channel.
Hope this helps

RE: How many channels?
You can use a Y-harness, or reversing Y-harness and get away with just a 4ch radio if necessary. A separate channel for each aileron is nice, though... then you can have flaperon/spoileron mixing if desired...

RE: How many channels?
On a standard 4-channel radio, each channel is attached to a stick direction. If you put each aileron on a separate channel, how would you fly the plane with one aileron on the throttle channel?

RE: How many channels?
I guess I should have been more clear... as I stated above, the y-harnesses let you get away with a 4 ch radio and separate aileron servos... when I said it's nice to have a separate channel for each aileron servo, I was referring to having a radio with more than just four channels...
