Default Plane locators

After 25 years of flying glow and 30 minutes of electic time, I lost a plane in high brush, that is snake invested. After several days of looking and several rattle snake encounters later, I declared the plane lost. If you have any experience with the many brands of plane locaters, I would like your comments. Please, no discussions on how to find a lost plane or other "war" stories. I am only looking for product advice. Thanks in advance.
