GAPLESS HINGES
ANY BODY OUT THERE EVER USE GRANITE STATE GAPLESS IRON ON HINGES. IS THERE ANY TRICK TO USING THEM OTHER THAN WHAT THE INSTRUCTIONS SAY. NEVER USED THEM BEFORE AND WAS INTERESTED IN USING THEM ON A 70 INCH GLIDER IM BUILDING. ALSO HOW DO THEY HOLD UP TO TIME AND USAGE, ANY INFO APPRECIATED, THANKS

You don't want to use them on a glider. They are two strips of Coverite sewned together which you iron on the LE and TE of flying surface. I tried them and don't like them. They are for use better on large aircraft where you cover the wing with fabric. If you need gapless. Hobby-Lobby sells a gapless tape clear. You can put it on the top or both sides of the gap. I use it on all my gliders . some use the iron on covering to do the same. But I find it easy to just line up the surface and lay the tape down on the top. I've used this on 10 footers with no problems, and once on you can not see the tape, hope this helps
