Choosing a battery help
First of all my setup
Great Planes Supersporster EP 48" 50 oz flying weight
Kyosho Endoplasna. 3.8:1 gear 12x10 apc. GreatPlanes 50 amp controller.
My current battery was an old 8 cell 2400 SCR and 1 cell died
Bought It cheap and used ( I know I know, Got what you pay for )
I was thinking of trying 8 GP 2100's . whith these cells I could drop 3 oz of weight off the plane.
Under $ 50.00 at cheapbatteries.com
Is this a good Choice or are there better ones ?
Thanks in advance
Fred..

RE: Choosing a battery help
It depends on how many Amps you're drawing on 8 cells, and whether these GP2100 cells can handle that...
The GP2200 is a "40 Amp" cell according to CBP's website. It should work okay unless something is really wrong with your setup.
