What is this chart telling me?
Howdy all,
I am new to electrics and a bit confused. I have an AXI-2204-054 motor and would like to set up like line two on this chart. I am doing my best to figure out what this chart is telling me for this motor. [:@] What does U/V mean? I/A mean?
I know that Power = IxV. I am not familiar with the constants U or A. Hmmm
Motor Prop. w/o gearbox Battery U/V RPM I/A P- OUT (W) P- IN (W) Efficiency (%)
2204/54 6x3 GWS Hyper 2x340 LiPol 7,1 9500 1,9 10 13 74
2204/54 6x3 GWS Hyper 3x340 LiPol 10,1 12470 3,5 26 35 75
2204/54 7x3,5 GWS Hyper 2x340 LiPol 7 8410 2,6 14 18 75
2204/54 7x3,5 GWS Hyper 3x340 LiPol 9,8 11220 4,6 33 45 73
2204/54 8x4 GWS Hyper 2x340 LiPol 6,6 6760 4,3 19 28 68
2204/54 9x5 GWS Hyper 2x340 LiPol 6,2 5140 5,8 20 36 56
Thanks in advance

RE: What is this chart telling me?
U/V = voltage in Volts
I/A = current in Amps
So line 2 of the chart translates to:
Axi 2204/54
6x3 GWS HD prop
3S 340mAh lipo battery pack
10.1V (what you'd expect from 3S lipo)
12470 RPM
3.5A
26W power out
35W power in
75% efficiency (power out divided by power in)
Does that help?

jd decoded it.....
what you might do is post what plane it is going on to... and what setup you have.....
Someone here may just have that same set up and be able to give good feedback

Quite simply put, they use "weird" letters to mean Volts and Amps because they're in Europe, and that's are the standard they use there. Some countries use "V" for Volts, some use "U." Some countries use "I" for Amps, some use "A." It depends a lot on their language, I believe.

OK,
Here is a link to the plane that this set is going in. The wing span is 21". The flying weight should come in at 6-7 oz. I have one very similiar that I built as a high wing and she goes like heck with a Cox TD.020. I love designing these little planes and thought I would give an electric one a whirl.
