Default Speed 400 servo selection

I just bought a Hi-Tec flight pack for a speed 400 size plane a SR bstteries X250 http://www.srbatteries.com/x250.htm. The flight pack included the Electron 6 mini recevier and hs-55 servos. The servos are rated at 16 in-oz. I have plenty of experience with 40-60 sized glow airplanes but this will be my first electric project and I am just wanting to make sure that the HS-55 servos will provide enough torque for this plane. The plane has a 36" wingspan and will weight in at about 24 oz

Yes, the HS 55 will be plenty for a 24 oz airplane. People have been putting these servos in airplanes such as the Mini Ultra Stick, Mini Funtana, and Mini Edge 540 which are around the same weight of your airplane. These planes have performed great.
