Default Castle Phoenix-80 on 7 Lipo instead of 6?

Heya guys,

I screwed up..I walked into my LHS and picked up the Phoenix 80 instead of the HV-80!!! Dang!
And I need to run 7 Lipo which under load is at 24.5 volts and 25.9 while idle. But the Castle 80 is rated at 24 Volt max (20 cells).
Sure enough I didn't realize until AFTER I soldered on connectors on both ends.

Can I rip off the heat-shrink and place a heat-sink on it (like the HV do) or did I just "waste" 160 dollars?
Man, I feel horrible....horrible indeed
Hope someone has "good news" for me or my week is already in the can.

Best regards,

Götz
