Need advice on e-setup
Hello all,
I plan building a small warbird, say 30'' wingspan, around 1.2 lbs, and I want to use powerful epower on brushless / 3 lipo cells.
The prop would be something between 5'' and 7''.
My understanding is that I need high a Kv in order to have a fast spinning motor (required for speed), I am not interested in great torque but in speed.
I have no esc but I could buy a Castle Creation phoenix 25 or 35A maybe if needed.
But which engine / prop would you recommend ? Hyperion ? Axi ?

If you're looking for a High-Kv motor, you probably want an inrunner. For example, the Mega 16/15 series motors, depending on how much power you plan on putting through it. Look into the 16/15/5, paying special attention to the Kv rating. You need to find motors with similar Kv ratings and the ability to handle about 20 Amps if you want to look at alternatives.
