Default HyrdoFoam Flying Boat, anyone fly one?

I'm building a HyrdroFoam electric flying boat. Looks like fun. Looking for any suggestions on how to handle this type of 3D flier, building or flying advice. I've been an experienced flier for several years, but this is different for me. My main concern with this model is water damage to the brushless motor and radio gear. First flight will be on water, just not looking for any surprises. Thanks.
