Default Any good Lipo brand

Hi, which brand is recommended for a 20C lipo pack? Thanks for those professionals who have an answer for me.

Thunder Power or Duralite seem to be the most popular. At least that I have noticed.

Somebody on the Stryker forum just posted this link for the best price thus far I've seen on 2200ma 3 cell 20C (30 burst) lipos. $32.53! For that price I could have bought three packs instead of two of my Hi-Model packs. The Hi-Model packs (20C with 28 burst) are a tiny bit smaller and weigh a little less at 175 grams versus 183 grams for the Hextroniks, but for almost half the price ($32.53 versus $54.99) it's well worth it. A couple people said these Hextroniks packs are of great quality as well. Like the Hi-Model packs they feature a balancing plug compatible with the Blinky Balancing card (like common sense rc, astro, and several other lipo makers do). Don't pay for a name.

Try giving a look at True RC and Commen Sense lipos, I've had nothing but great experience with True RC products myself along with great customer service. Its worth atleast a look.

I will give Dan at TrueRc a plug too.
http://home.comcast.net/~truerc/custompack.htm
He sells individual cells and makes up packs to order for fair prices. I got a pair of 10C 8000 amp for $120 each.

Pretty good, and by going up in amps and down in C I ended up with longer flight times, significantly. 4000's would have fit and would have had to be 20C for 8 min flights on a 93" wing span. I hope the link doesn't get wiped out, if it does, PM me.

Thanks to everybody. Let me share my experience on Lipo. I had a Poly Quest 3700 mah 20C. I took great care to this battery, that in charging and discharing. It cost me round $140 including p&p. The thing is that I used it only 40 cycles the maximum, but one day I found an inflated cell and dead, while it was stored for a short period say 3 weeks maximum.

regads.
