Default What motor to use for Palmer C130

I have tried using MotoCalc to determine what motor system to use for the Palmer C130 87"ws. The plans call for 4 - "O.S. Max" .25 FP engines with custom mufflers. MotoCalc says there is no electric motor system with the right weight to performance ratio for this plane. However, Dan Palmer said he has heard of several people converting the plane to electric but doesn't have their names. Does anyone have experience with this or know someone who has? I would sure like to keep this project electric and not resort to gas.

Default c130 motors

Try calling or go to web site for hobby lobby and check out the "Mega Motors" (brushless) and controllers. They will fly that model and price is not bad. I'm putting those motors in a 103" C-130.
Bench tested the next-to-largest (don't remember the number off the top of my head) with a 10-7 prop and got 10,200 RPM.
