Any power tool motor as light as a speed 400 will most likely BE a 400 (Mabuchi or Johnson 370 class).
Why bother tearing apart tools to find a motor when the speed400 only costs less than $10? I've seen them for less than $5 even.
The next, more powerful (larger) motor commonly found in power tools is the mabuchi 550/600 class motor. Again the same story.
In my opinion if you've got a dead power tool go ahead and strip the motor out of it to see if it's useful, but it won't be any better, and probably will be worse, than off the shelf hobby store motors.
