Prop Saver on Rimfire motor
Hey guys,
I purchased a rimfire motor and a Electrifly ESC. I used the prop saver method to mount the prop. I used one o-ring. Well about 1 minute into the flight, the prop flew off. Should I use 2 o-rings? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Patrick

I have always just used one, just make sure it is completely around the screw head and pushed back so it rests against the screw shaft.

And make sure that if you've stressed the o ring at all you check its integrity. On my 3d plane it always flexes the prop back when i land... after a few flights it hasn't got enough strength to give the prop a good hold. In vertical flight the prop even pulls itself away from the motor enough to flop off to the side. I change mine pretty frequently now.

You can find better o-rings at your local Hardware store. The ones that come with the Kits or props are usually not as good as those from the Hardware store.
