Swallow Charger
Hey, i recently bought a walkera dragonfly 36 heli and the charger fried my battery and i then read this was not uncommon so i bought a swallow charger to use on the spare battery i had which is a lipo, 1200mah, 11.1v 10cell battery. The swallow charger i bought will only charge up to 5cells so i cant use it (it gives me an voltage error). Does anyone know of a good quality charger i can get to use on these batteries?
Thanks
Thanks

RE: Swallow Charger
The Swallow should do the job. You have a 3S battery (11,1V=3S, not 10S!!!) (10S have a nominal voltage of 37Volt...) And you say the charger can do up to 5S?
Set the charger at 3S and charge current at 1200mA (1,2A) or less. Best is to charge at lower current if you have time. 600mA is good, and 1200mA is MAX.
Btw: a year ago some Swallow Adv chargers on the market were out of calibration, they charged at a voltage close to 13V when they should have stopped at 12,6. The display showed 12,6, but measuring with a good DVM showed 13. A friend of mine got one of these and destroyed brand new LiPoes.

RE: Swallow Charger
Yes, Thanks i realised just before reading your post that the battery says 10C and is not 10cells at all. Im not sure how many cells it is. Im not sure why it gives me a voltage error then???
