I feel like an idiot here
I'm looking into getting a slow stick and im not really sure about all the specs. Im an avid modeler, i have about 7 planes, so im not new to the hobby by any means. I figured this is a good place to find out some info about it. anyways, my question is pretty simple. Do slow sticks fly well indoors?

You shouldn't feel like an idiot. Doing the proper research before you buy is important, and what would RCU be if there weren't questions being asked? This is exactly what RCU is for, and plenty of people will benefit from your willingness to ask the question.
How big of a space do you have? I imagine that'll greatly affect the answers you get. You might want to think about asking RCKen to move this to one of the electric forums, too. You might get better answers there.

thanx for the confidence. I agree moving it may be a good idea. im thinking about a high school gymnasium. its a little larger than a full sized basket ball court.

From experience of a slo-v (the slow sticks ugly brother!) I would say you could fly just fine in a basketball court although a gym with two side by side would be better, have a look at the pico stick as well or the lightflight bug or even an IFO they may be even more suitable.

well thanx a bunch. i really wasnt sure about getting one. the only reason i was thinking about one was an other club in the area challenged my club to a slow stick full contact combat event. it sounds like a blast but i wanted somthing i could fly indoors as well.
