Sig Riser 100
I have flown R/C glo for years. No electric experience. We relocated into a townhouse. Space is limited. My grandson has asked me to teach him to fly R/C. I have a Sig Riser 100 kit. I have the radio, etc. I need the electric motor, controls, batteries, etc. Will someone advise me what I need" Thank you for your help and input.

RE: Sig Riser 100
If space is limited you might choose a smaller glider than the big Riser. The only one I knew of could not even be landed at our club field because it would just float across it on final approach without even touching down. A 2-meter plane would be a lot more practical.

RE: Sig Riser 100
Keith,
Hopefully you are still looking into this. An Atlas 2927-10, 10 x 6 to 13 x 10 prop, 45 amp esc, 3-5 cell lipo from Hobby-Lobby. com.
Or AXI 2820-10, 10 x 6 folding prop, 45 amp esc, 3s 2100 mah li-po. Or you can go to Unitedhobbies.com and find something of equal value for a lot less. These setups will give good climb performance with good duration. I am using the first one in my Riser 100. Good luck.
