Please help with power supply
I recently bought a 12 volt power supply for my Triton battery charger. Whenever I plug the triton into the power supply, it says "Input Voltage Error" and beeps like crazy. I attached it to my voltmeter, and it said that it is putting out 15.7 volts with no load and 15.3 volts with the triton plugged in. I was wondering if there was some place to buy a voltage regulator, or if there was some other way to limit the output voltage. Thanks for your time and help,
Dan

Take that power supply back where you bought it. Building or buying a regulator is more trouble and expense than it's worth.
You want to buy a REGULATED 12V power supply, like an old PC power supply, or something from Radio Shack. There are plenty of threads on converting an old AT or ATX PC power supply at http://www.rcgroups.com.

Please help with power supply
thx for such a quick reply. I am also wondering how many amps it should be. I dont use anything bigger than an 8 cell being charged at 1.5 amps. Is there a chart or something that says how much energy the Triton uses for the different battery types?
