what to do with some extra stuff
hey, guys
I had a great planes flatouts reflection biplane. to make a long story short, it's life is over. I diddnt like how it assembled, I diddnt like how it flew, and I diddn't like how it seemed to fall apart.
anyways, I have all the equpment form this plane ( 22m-1000 brushless motor, 10 amp esc, and 11.1v 1300mah lipo battery)
do any of you know of any planes that I could drop this setup into? If not, are there any that would use most of this setup.
I like areobatic airplanes, sport planes, just about anything actually.....
Thanks in advance.

you'll probably be looking for something that has a RTF (AUW) of about 1lb, or maybe just slightly more. If you figure 11A cont on that motor and a 3s lipo, you're figuring about 120w. if you want to do mild to average aerobatics or scale flying you'll need something like 100w/lb just to give you an idea
here is a link to that motor

oh your ESC is only rated at 10A, so it's plenty small for that motor, you might burn it up if you keep 11A going to the motor all the time, a 20A ESC would be better in that case, or set a lower throttle end point and go with something a pound or less.

Hey penguin how's it going? I had basically the same setup as yours ( Rimfire 22m-1000, Bl-8 esc, and a 910 3s lipo) , and I put those components in a MSComposit Unique. I was really satisfied with the plane, its performance, and durability. The link: [link]http://www.Mscompositusa.com[/link] I did have to make my own motor mount, due to the rimfires stupid triangular mount, but it was'nt really a problem. This is only one of many possibilities. Keep searching, and you will find something to use your parts in. Best of luck to you!

Here's another one- [link]http://www.graysonhobby.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=2&products_id=535[/link] I plan to try one of these with that equipment. Take it easy!
