FUTABA FASST Compatibility
I have a Futaba 2.4 radio and I want to use that with my new Chapman 580 cap flat out. The problem is that the FASST receiver is huge, way to heavy for this type of application. I do not think FUTABA makes a micro FASST receiver - so here is the question. Is my radio compatible with other manufacturer's 2.4 ghz receivers?
And if so, which one should I buy???
Thanks in advance - I am used to flying the big ones and would like to have something that I can play with in the back yard.

RE: FUTABA FASST Compatibility
No, you can only use Futaba 2.4GHz RXs.
This lack of selection of Futaba RXs was the main reason I went with a Spektrum DX7 instead of Futaba 2.4GHz radio/module. Spektrum already has several micro and full size RXs to choose from for their systems. I'm sure Futaba will eventually come out with some smaller RXs.
