Default LiPo Recommendation for E-Flite AT-6 Texan w/ Power 32 Motor

Have just received the last of the backordered upgrades for my E-Flite AT-6 Texan ARF. I have gone with the Power 32 motor instead of the Power 25. As this is a larger and more powerful motor, I need a recommendation on what size LiPo battery to use. Your help is appreciated.

I'd use either the 4S 4000 mah or 3300 mah Lipo. You may get different performance from the 3300 since it weights less. The trade off is flying time. But, that depends a lot on your throttle management.

Thanks for your recommendation. As weight is a factor I will go with the 3300MaH LiPo.

I have that plane and it's a beauty. However, mine tends to be tailheavy therefore I use 4s/2P 2100 Li Pos. So think the suggested 4000 Ma bat. would be a good choice. The weight is not a problem with that motor which is what I use also. I have the retracts and cockpit package and full flaps and I weigh 4# 12 oz. Do not fly it tailheavy and use minimal elevator throws. Hope you use a good 60A ESC and separete BEC. Eight servos are too much for the ESC's bec

they also have flight cells out there so you could get a 2200 3300 4200 25c pack instead of 20c
