3mm = .1181 A # 32 drill bit is 0.1160 in. Is that close enough?

the Local hardware store, or there is a good chance that the local hobby shop will have it

2.9464mm = .116" = #32 if you want one slightly smaller, or,

3.048mm = .12" = #31 if you want one slightly larger, or,

3mm = .1181" if you want one that's dead on.

All the hobby shops are gone.

So I will look at the #32 drill bit.

You should be able to get that size at the local hardware store, for the tougher sizes go here,
