Default Parkzone Li-Po charger?

Im new to Li-Po and i just got the parkzone 2-3 cell Li-Po charger. I dont know what setting to put my charger on. I have a 3 cell 11.1V 1800mAh battery.
The charger can be set to:
.3
.5
1
1.5
1.75
2

The ironic thing is that there is a warning that the divise could catch fire if set past 1 amp

Thanks for all the help!

Default RE: Parkzone Li-Po charger?

First... do not charge unless you are in the same room watching the battery...

Second.... Have the battery in a fire proof container so flames can not start a fire...

Third... Be careful... set the charger at a setting less than your battery size... maybe a 1800, 2100 or 2200 size, 3 cell..

I would set the charge rate at 1.5 for a 1800 size battery but you can go to 1.8... just be careful and keep an eye on the battery during charging...

The battery may overheat or catch fire if you set it past a 1C charge rate, NOT a 1A charge rate. A 1C charge rate is equivalent to the Ah rating of your battery, so 1800mAh = 1.8Ah, and a 1C charge rate is 1.8A. So a 1.75A setting on your charger should be fine.
