Default quick avion question

i know that the megatech avion is a toy, but for $30 its the most fun iv had with a plane!
there is only one problem, i cant fly it outside when the sun is out! i can only fly outside if its 1 hour from sundown.
i know that this is do to the infer red signel it uses instead of a true radio control. i found the avion io that uses a radio, but that sucker costs $120!
is there any way to boost the ability of the transmitter to cut through sunlight?

or, is there another brand that makes a simillar plane with a real radio control system?

Look around in your favorite toy stores for an Air Hogs Aero Ace Bipe (Biplane) or Jet. Costs about $30 US and uses a regular radio transmitter. These planes are made from that spongy type foam and don't break when crashed. I have the Jet and like you said, it's tons of fun.
