Default Lightmax Battery Prices

Has anybody tried these batteries? Lightmax Zippy Batery. The web site is www.hobbyking.com. They have prices that are really low.
Example: 5,000 mAH for $60.00. I'm new to this, so after seeing 5,000 mAH for $250.00 & higher, I thought I would ask>

Thanks,

Jim,
They are working fine so far, our group has been buying batteries from HC for quite awhile. I just got 4 of them for an A-26 Invader.

You do get a bad one every once in awhile as with other packs also.

Thanks. I found another thread that talked about them. I just thought that the difference in price looked too good to be true. Like I said, I'm still new to this. The electric
motors, that is.

Regards,

Jim

I have two sets of the Flightmax and have not had any problems with them. You do need to consider the shipping cost when price comparing. Depending on the wieght it can cost $50-$60 to ship these to the US.

I have several Zippy Lipos ranging from 1000 to 4000. I have yet to have any problems with them. Only bad thing is shipping prices from hobby king but I usually buy several items at once to save on shipping.

I've had the same good experience with Zippy batteries. I have been buying these batteries for individuals in our club for over a year. Ordering in larger quantities help reduce the per-pack shipping costs.

I've had only one 3S 2200mah pack puff up on me and that's when I used a larger prop than recommended on my Parkzone Stryker 27C. I've had that pack for over a year. Anyway, the Stryker reached almost 100 mph, but I'm back to the regular prop.

I recently ordered their $37 li-po charger. I'm anxious to see how it works.
