mister,

we need alittle more info to be able to give you a good answer, IE... weight of plane wing flat bottom or symetrical ? approx all up weight of the plane ?

give us more info and we can come up with a motor and battery set-upfor you .

mister,

is this the plane here ? link= http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXBSB8&P=SM

if it is i would say a monster power 46 link= http://www.nitroplanes.com/mo466brmo.html (sold out at the moment)

or an e-flight power 46 link= http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...odID=EFLM4046A

an AXI 2826 series motor would probably work well also.

either of the first 2 motors on a 4s li-po set-up would fly that plane very well i would think, and the axi would fly it scale like.

but wait for other responses from the electric gurus that are more knowledgable than me

Those are both 4120/670 size motors. With a 12x4 or 12x6 prop, 6S1P 2100mAh, Castle HV-30 or HV-45 ESC and anyones 4120/670 motor (KMS from hobby people, or 4120/?? from AXI) you can get performance like a .46 glow. The torque is higher and the peak rpm is lower, but it's close.
