E-Flite 450 Inrunner question

Default E-Flite 450 Inrunner question

I just bought the E-Flites Park 450out runner890 kvmotor and the batterie requirements said1200 mah to 2100 mah 3 cell.I plan on useing my 3s 2350 mah 25c batteries.Will this size batterie do any damage to the motor?

The motor and the load it's driving (prop) determine how much current is drawn from your battery. That amount of current must not be higher than the ratings for your battery, ESC or motor. Generally, these components should not be heating up very much if they are operating within safe limits. Battery size is an indication of how much current can potentially be provided if demanded by a given load. It is a good idea to use a wattmeter or ammeter to verify your current draw as you change motor and prop combinations.
