Default Leon Shulman's Zomby ?

In the June issue of Model Aviation, page 58, Mr. Shulman offer's his plan for a blue foam Zomby. He uses an AXi 2208-34 motor together with a Jeti 8 amp ESC. The next larger Jeti is a 12 amp unit, without that much price difference. Being an electric "newbie", would it be to my advantage to select the larger 12 A. ESC ? Or .... Would the 8 A. ESC be perfectly adequate. He uses a 2 cell lipo. Is anyone else out there using a similar set-up, and any additional information for improving the system in this plane would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your help.

hi there from Toledo!

Either ESC will do the job. The 12A unit may be more useful in future projects.

I suggest that you take a conservative approach and go for the larger ESC. If your current draw hits the ESC limit it may cause a shutdown of power and possible loss of a plane. Alas, this has happened to me.
