Can i switch props??!!
I have a phase 3 mini spitfire that comes with 2 props in the box. I recently broke both and the only way to replace it is to order some online....or i can go to my local hobby shop and pick up some 4.2 by 2 spped props. Will speed props change prefromance or rpm's? will it fry the brushed motor inside? or will it make it faster and fly faster cause its a speed prop . thanks!

RE: Can i switch props??!!
As long as you have the same pitch & length as the stock prop, you should be fine. In general, "speed" props are more efficient (i.e. you'll draw less current) than "slow-fly" props. If you your stock prop was a slow-flyer type prop, and you replaced it with the same size/pitch speed prop, you'll probably draw less current, and it may be a little faster.

A friend of mine has one of those. What a crazy little plane! It's an absolute hoot to watch it scoot around at warp 9.
They have a custom molded prop for this plane. No indication of diameter or pitch, though diameter is easily determined.
You may run into a balance issue with the lightweight OEM plastic prop vs. a heavy composite prop. The plane might weigh 3 ounces soaking wet, and a few grams one way or the other can adversely affect the CG.
