A Hot Speed 480?
After I get done charging my 1400 nicad 8cell and hooking it up my motor won't run. It seems like I have to wait 2 min. then give it throttle and it works. Is that normal? Is it getting over heated?

Kyle,
No, that is not normal. Perhaps you are not setting the ESC's safety arming procedure. Some ESCs require 3 seconds off throttle and then 3 seconds full throttle after a power-up. When you return from full throttle back to off throttle, the motor is then enabled.
