Major RC Universe upgrade planned for Monday - This should be COOL!

Major RC Universe upgrade planned for Sunday/Monday 21/22 - This should be COOL!

There will be a major RC Universeupgrade in the upcoming days. There may be times when the FORUMS will not be available and times when RCU itself will not be available.

There is a site wide notification in place about this, in case you have not seen it. And you can try out the new forum software on the test site If you like. Cool!

From what I have been told, this will happen Sunday night throughMonday, dependingon your time zone,and may continue for the rest of the day Monday, perhaps for one or two more days.

Check the link above for updates and I willlet you know more as things progress.Please - be patient when this upgrade takes place. We believe this will be a major improvement to RCU and will make RCUa better place for all of us.

Don't have much confidence in the upgrade when they can't get the date right!

The upgrade is being delayed. As most of us in the computer world know, these things happen. Better to delay and get it right then rush it and have problems.

I will let you know when I know more.

The upgrade finally occurred. As with any major software upgrade, there will be problems, bugs, etc. Please see the green banner at the top of the page and hit the link given to report problems. The better we report them the faster they can fix them.

Be sure to include what OS you are using and what browser.

I run Windows 7 and IE 10
