Flying Wing Plans

I was wondering if anyone knew of any flying wing plans on the net. I have a couple of Aerobirds kicking around that I personally do not think are worth repairing (hate that plane). I was thinking that the electronics would be fairly well suited to a flying wing type application (elevons).

Thanks for any suggestions.

Bluedog.

Well, I am not familiar with the aerobirds, so I don't know what exactly you have left over.

However, if your looking for a cheap and easy to build flying wing, try the Spaggi. Its a scaled up version of the zagi, and runs on glow power, but you can scale the plans back down to suit your equipment. Its made from corroplast, and you can find it here. Hope that helps :)

I am attempting the same thing. I am building my wings out of Coroplast, then filling them with "Great Stuff" expanding foam to add rigidity. I used the Zagi-XS (scaled down to 36" wingspan) as a model for the sweep angles and just sorta eyeballed the symmetrical airfoil. I still have to work out how to mount the rx/servo combo board that the Aerobird uses. and come up with something to mount the motor.

If this one works, i'll build another one with pictures to post here.
