Ok guys lest see the ultra micro mods everyone has done!!!
heres mine nothing to hard just repainted the canopy and tail black it looks cool though.
also turnd my p-51 in to a um f-117 flys slower than i though it would nad wont loop needs work i think that it being a proto teyp is the reason why tough needs lots of work still but it flys and is a proof od concept it will be black in its final form.

I knew the Black Ops Team was REAL! Black Helicoptersmaking sure we aren't infiltrated by terrorists and....ALIENS, protecting America's Liberty. I like those secretly hidden, dwarf Hellfire Missles you've got on the birdsfor hittting theterrorists when they try to run away like little roaches. Awesome!I'll ask Dr. Browning to look into a nose-mounted cannon design for helicopters. He's been busy on my XP-51 but I see a special priority for the Black Ops Team.America depends on you!

A flying Pizza delivery system! I like peperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, chicken, a little hamburger and a good sauce. You could put Dominos out of 'bidness withsuch a genius American device. Put in the GPS address and zip her on over. Collect funds and if their money's no good you could zap 'em with Micro Brownings. This could work. I'd invest.

I especially like the MIcro Machine Gun!
Godspeed!

Fraid not. It's a scratchbuilt out of my head. 15 in. wingspan with the guts out of the 4Site. Runs on a 2 cell batt. with a diode to drop the voltage down for the rcvr ans servos. Rcvr reprogrammed for brushless. sort of a weeny 3D

Well, it's that time of year again. Ultra Micro time, ok actually it's experiment time. I have a T-Rex 450 that will be part of this as well. For Micros here is what I am working on. A profile sorta Su-26, from 3mm Cell88. I am getting weight conscious already, AUW of the Factory PZ semi-scale is 29.4g and I am at 11g already. But I need to finish this to get the ideas and the confidence to go bigger. Going to a scaled up version at 22" I have some confidence in. I just have to push through the first one.
I also set up templates in case it works well.
Back to the plane lab.

looks good so far Fern.
I am thinking about scraping the micro 117 and making a micro 300 I will decide on that depending on if I can make the 117 more stable in a roll it drops out by 5 to 10feet towards the end I am going to make the top for it and see if it helps if it dose it will also make it look a lot nicer. Now i just have to find time to build it. I flown once in the past 2 weeks =(.
Schools more important though last year =).

Nice Tim, can't wait to see her fly. It looks like you are going to come in lighter than me with that PZ Brick. Are you going brushless? I can't believe how powerfull this little brushless motor is on my UM Piaget.

Here is where I am on the Pro-26. All but the right aileron servo is glued in. The control horn glue is curing on that side. The control horns are custom cut from the lid of a Feta cheese tub :. The prop saver is installed. It is sporting a new 4-site motor and gearbox/mount. Note the fancy push rod guide Next up will be the lg and trying to balance it. I need to buy another set of balancer guides and cut them short. Right now, anything under 6 ozs is off by the weight of the balancer.
Mikesand, I have received my 4 channel OrangeRx rx's They came in at 2.6 and 2.7g when I weighed one. Definitely sub 3g. And with standard pin outs a regular Turnigy plush 5A esc and the right servos and a really fast light plane is possibly fairly cheap, off the shelf.
Gerald, until I figure out what is what with the brushless rigs for the ar6400(L) rx's I will stick to the faster brushed motors. With the new RX that changes things adding the 20+% more wing is fine if I can achieve 200W/lb at least. I may build a wattmeter rig to read th numbers for these planes. Should be interesting and I an pretty sure I have an extension I can use. And it is rainy

I am a strong believer in that plane. But I can't fix them. Going through this build I think I found the problem. The way the CG is measured. From the image the cg is measured at the wing root, not inverted and at the beginning of the thick part of the wing. I had about given up on this plane until I saw that. Now I can go forward. If the cg is good all you want are the Hyperion 160mah batteries. I am going to place an HC order together and add some of their 160mah 30c batteries in.
OK, I came in around 40g or 1.4 ozs auw. I went with skid gear rather than LG, If I have the balance right I can fly it about just fine and then dump it on grass.
I will be doing a Wattmeter run on this model in a while. And I will post the numbers.
