Default Parkzone Bnf P-40 Help?

I want to know if the new Bnf Ultra Micro P-40 can be bound to my stock transmitter from my old Ultra Micro Corsair? I thought I heard somewhere that this wouldn't work, but I might have heard the reverse? I can't remember the conversation I had about this, but If I don't need to buy a new transmitter that would be nice I don't mind using these little transmitter's I actually like the smaller size of them.
