Yes it will.
I have the Cessna, Ember and Vapor and all the batteries are the same. The only difference is that the Cessna battery has that little tape tab on the end of the battery so you can pull it out of the recess in the bottom of the plane where the battery goes. You can make your own tab with a piece of tape.

Yep works fine on a Vapor. 30 minutes of flight time with conservative throttle indoors, use the same charger also, is a few grams heavier though but not too noticable.
Happy flying

So you actually have the 110 Mah version?? Everywhere I look says it is on backorder or due out in late September. I know the 70 mah version is good in the cessna, vapor and ember but wonder if the 110 Mah version will fit in the Cessna battery tray??

This subject has been educational for me. I did not know there was a 110mah version. I have 3 planes that all came with the 70mah version and I bought one extra battery when I bought the Cessna which was my first one it is is also the 70mah version. So I have 4 of the 70 mah versions. So I am not really worried about it because that is 280mah worth of back to back flying. It is very easy to change out the battery.

The batterys not made for the parkzone products, it was made for the E-Flite Blade MCX so it made me wonder if it would fit.

This Plane Needs a BRUSHLESS!!
Anyone done this mod yet? I want to but am what I would say, "Mechanically Challenged".
Would this motor work??

I've noticed that the Kyosho Minium plane is way more powerful than this plane. I saw a video of it doing loops and it was very strong and did many fast loops in succession.
I was thinking about putting the motor/ gear box from the Kyosho plane in the parkzone plane.

cool, do you mind giving a little more detail with that. Like exactly where did you put the white grease? Are you talking about lithium grease?
I used some trinity bearing oil on mine, it seemed to help a little but not alot. I am really interested in putting one of the motors out of the kyosho plane in it. The Kyosho plane looks very strong.

My cessna won't do more than 1. Should I order a motor replacement just to see if that would do better? Mine has only been flown about 10 times. Maybe someone could find a better quality replacement motor for it.

RE: Parkzone Cessna 210 centurion
Ok, I tried it some more today and I was able to get 3 loops. The wind was messing with me a little.
I was also able to achieve inverted flight today for about 15', then I had to pull out so I didn't hit a tree.
What do you guys think about converting it to direct drive?? What would happen? I was hoping for more power. I am jealous of the power the Kyosho has.
Maybe I should order the motor for the Kyosho and see if it will fit. Does anyone know if the Kyosho motor is on a gear reducer or direct drive?

RE: Parkzone Cessna 210 centurion
For all you guys that was wondering if anyone was ever going to be able to answer my question. I got it answered today by a great guy that owns a great site.
Here is the site
http://bsdmicrorc.com/
Here is the motor gear box
http://bsdmicrorc.com/index.php?productID=848
But they said the blue motor is even faster so if you want the blue motor, just ask for it in the final notes of your purchase and they will put it on at no extra charge.
Here is the prop
http://bsdmicrorc.com/index.php?productID=788
He also said to take most of the angle of the motor mount out. Make it more straight with the airplane. I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to planes. I have alot to learn. He said the severe angle that Parkzone put on the motor/prop is a beginner setup and slows the plane down alot. I will even try just changing the motor/prop angle before I get the new stuff just to let you guys know how much that helps.
I also noticed that the Kyosho plane did not have this severe motor/prop angle. I thought it was a slightly different plane design and did not need the angle. But now that I am learning a little more I realize that Kyosho just didn't set it up for beginners.

Ok, that was easy. First I cut a thin line where the top if the plane is taped to the bottom of the pane where the decal holds it together, then I just used a hobby knife to cut away the glue that was holding the motor mount in. Pulled it out and repositioned it so the angle is almost straight. I will fly it tomorrow and get a vid.

RE: Parkzone Cessna 210 centurion
I flew it today with the new prop/motor angle and it didn't make that much of a difference in power or speed, but it did make a difference in flight characteristics.
It does loop better and has more upward flight. I guess the prop was pulling down on it half the time. I would suggest for anyone that has this plane to mod the prop/motor angle.
My upgrade parts should be here early next week. We will see hot she does then.

RE: Parkzone Cessna 210 centurion
Here is the update. I received the parts and have started the mod.
First I noticed that the new motor is slightly larger than the stock motor, the prop is also larger. I hope this doesn't burn up my esc. We will see, keep you fingers crossed for me[sm=wink_smile.gif]
I had to remove some of the foam around the area where the top comes down over the motor mount to make room for the new larger motor and gear.
I have set it in place, tested the motor rotation direction and soldered the wires. I have set it in place with Elmer's glue incase I need to make some changes it will be easy to do.
Here is what we have so far. I am kind of excited. If my esc holds up, I am sure we have a winner here.

Sweet!! About the angle of that prop, I was wondering for so long if I straightend the motors angle out, would it fly better and my question is did it? Does it climb alot better and therefore give you some longer flight times?

RE: Parkzone Cessna 210 centurion
It did change the flight characteristics but it did not make a difference in speed that I saw and I did not time the flight.
But I am sure this new motor and prop upgrade will make a huge difference.
We will see tomorrow. Weather permitting.
