wheelnut thats a sick collection man, i envy you !!!

bill alot of us are flying these micros, and your absolutely right they are crazy, crazy addictive. i love having planes that i can take out in my yard and fly whenever i get the itch! i dont have any parkzone planes yet but i have the flyzone playmate which is an awsome plane, and for a price tag of 80 rtf you cant go wrong. i also have 2 erc mustangs which are very nice looking and flying birds. nd for the price of 60 bucks rtf its just insane! i also have the electronics for a suhkoi i got off of a friend of mine that im using to build i micro sized bipe. needless to say i have enough planes and more than enough lipos that i can go to the park and spend a full day flying while never waiting for batteries.

Thanks Diabolical,

That is a PZ Cessna 210 with a Citabria wing

You will also notice my Citabria BIPE conversion. Just took another Citabria wind, cut 1/2" off the leading edge and put it on

TOO COOL! Everbody get down with the SICKNESS! Its just amazing to me how far Technology has come with this stuff!  I guess its been 4 or 5 years ago....or maybe longer that i picked up a Park Zone Cub and a Citabria RTF that were a bit larger than the micro planes they offer now......they came with FM radios and i believe the motors had brushes and they were powered with nickel metal hydride batteries as lipo technology was just beginning to catch on....i still have those planes and the thing is if i could find replacement batteries for em they would still be flyin as good as the the i got em! And I beat the DAYLIGHTS out of those planes as my piloting skills leave ALOT TO BE DESIRED! I think im gonna be hooked on this micro stuff for a LLOOONNNGG time!

yeah im addicted to micros, ive had a few of the larger planes and they are a blast to fly aswell but when space is limited having something that can be flown around in an area the size of a garage or driveway is just ideal. the wind facot is always disapointing but ive been practicing my skills and can fly pretty well in winds. the best part of windy flight for me is when your fighting a head wind and the plane is just standing still in the air, poor mans hover lol.

wheelnut im thinking im going to have to increase my efforts to catch up with that collection man, how often do you fly them all and out of them all which one would you say is the best and why? thanks

I don't actually get to fly them that much, but each of them has been flown at least 20 times, some more than others.

Well, it's hard to say what my favorite is. they all have their own unique characteristics.
I like the P-51 for it's scale look and 4 channel fun.
I like the Cessna and Citabria for their ability to fly slow enough to fly in a small space but still be able to handle more wind than the Ember or Vapor.
I like the Ember for it's slow flying fun on windless days.
I like the Micro Cub for it's nice scale looks and slow flying ability, although it won't fly in as small of an area as the Cessna or Citabria.
I love the Sukhoi for it's larger control surfaces for snap rolls and other 3D' ish maneuvers.
I sold my Vapor because I don't get much of a chance to fly indoors and I needed the money.

Over all I think it's a tough decision between the P-51 and the Sukhoi.

I think if I had the new Sukhoi, it would win

how slow does the ember fly? is it the slowest flyer? i love slow flying, its possibly my favorite as its the most relaxing plus i get longer flights with my playmate when i fly slow. im considering getting another plane if i can find something that is slower than the playmate, ill have to try getting a video of the playmate so you have something for a comparison with its slowness lol.

The Vapor is the slowest, the Ember is second slowest.

My Sukhoi XP arrived earlier in the week. This is my first micro, but I don't think that it'll be the last. lol.
Crazy addictive and flys great.
Cheers! BH

THATS FOR SURE! Ive never flown an r/c plane that floats like the VAPOR.....with just a tiny bit of headwind that will hang and land like a helicopter......but its also very manuverable and will turn inside itself......
