Default Pletty 30x10 evo and jeti master spin 99. Help please !

Setting up my new jeti Esc and the Pletty 30x10 evo and i was wondering if someone out there would like to share your settings. Timming, Brake %, etc. Oh, also using Futaba 14mz.

Thanks for your help !

Marcio,

I set up the same combo for a friend of mine. The only thing I can remember off of the top of my head is 24 degree timing. If no one else chimes in, I will measure his settings next time we go flying.

With the Plettenberg 30-10 EVO motor and Jeti, Schulze, and YGE controllers you should use 24 degrees timing and 8khz frequency. Castle controllers like "low" timing and also 8khz (or lowest) frequency. This will give you a safe starting point for all of these controllers. Braking is up to you, but you can have sync issues (loss of timing) with most of the above if you use high (above 40%) brake strength after a long downline when you transition back to fwd throttle.

I'm pretty sure that most, if not all, controllers require that you reverse the throttle servo in your 14mz.

I'm still trying to understand the usefulness of using the brake.

I'm trying to slow down my airplane down lines. The ESC the i've been using this past season didn't give me the adjustable brake option and this one does as some others ESC on the market does it too. we'll see how it works.

Someone please correct me if i'm wrong as i'm new to this !
