I came across this yesterday... something from Japan I hadn't seen before. Runs on what appears to be a Hacker inrunner with belt drive reduction...

Very interesting. Note that it has a flying stab.

It sure does... and complicated and expensive and not worth it, IMHO.

would that be 78.000 YEN? Expensive... I like the belt drive though, so much more sophisticated then gears...

I translated the key statement: "- Tail horizontal stabilizer, flying direct method"

Not sure what benefit that it would have, I just found it interesting.

Also, only the EP version seems to have the flying stab.

Generally lower drag for a given pitching force. Might be helpful in keeping energy up during snaps.
