RE: ZN Xigris C1 build
Nice work Jon,
I have been flying my #1 ship for the past three weeks and it is by far the best pattern ship I have flown to date. With the recommended CG and wing/stab locations I have zero mixes in the knife edge and only use a small amount of throttle right rudder mix for vertical and low throttle down elevator mix for the down lines. What is your ready to fly weight?
Mark

4930 gr without wheelpants. Battery weight is 1320 grams so I can save a heap by getting lighter cells, but as long as I'm under and the thing balances out, then sod it :-)
I will get a carbon spinner and prop though, as it is a touch nose-heavy. Probably save me 100 grams or more.

Hi Jon,
The last time looked to a car for color scheme inspiration it was '79 and the car was a Lotus. The black and gold looked great and offered almost no orientation help in the air!
best regards,
Dean Pappas

To put it this way, this Xigris was my first, and definitely my last all blue and white model. It's like camouflage! BTW, I always wanted a black/gold John Player Special Lotus livery for a plane. Here are some very nice motorsport liveries for inspiration that could look very good:
