When is the boat due to make it to port? I understand that after that is gonna be a couple more weeks for customs, truck to extreme flight warehouse and for you guys to go over the inventory but still I would like to have an idea of the time frame.

Sorry, I don't have a date. I am "Assuming" in another three weeks or so....BUT I can tell you that we ship things out as fast as possible. I am usually putting things away AND packing orders at the same time.

@dougiehl I checked the Tru-turn site, I can't find anything, even in the "addons" section for getting the cooling holes cut. What's the magic for ordering a cooling spinner? (even though wind tunnel testing of the marquet spinners suggests you don't get additional airflow anyway).

2 1/2" Spinners http://www.truturn.com/cgi-bin/store...exact_match=on
They'll probably make the propeller slots to a special size is you ask them to.

Hi Guys
Tru turn turbo cooling spinners are on the site but they make the cooling holes on even their 3" spinners, just tell them the size of the spinner and type and theyll do it. Also apparently the pricing may not be right on the site. The 3" cone with cooling holes is$33. I got the Turbolite back plate $36.95 for the 3". Comes with the bolt.
Hope this helps. Prices were as of 19/8/2011 US dollars.

Man, their website is seriously broken! Even when there's a picture of the turbo-cool spinner on the home page, it doesn't link to the spinner page! Your direct link is the *only* path I've found to the turbo cool spinners. Very strange.

Re Tru Turn spinner.
Go to their web page, go the spinner type then I think check out the sizes 2-2.5 inch and its on the top. They say to email for other sizes. When I emailed they said the price was wrong on the website. When the invoice came it was the price I quoted above. Also got a free hat(cap). I also got the bushing, need 2 to clear the firewall on the 8mm Axi rear shaft, and also I did get the 12mm adaptor that the bolt fits through from them. I got a spare spinner and one for my Sebart Miss windS as well......so may be they throught the cap in .

Could someone tell me what is the distance from the firewall to the front of the cowl and the length of the torque motor from the back to the propeller backplate.

Somewhere there is a crummy picture of me holding the Magenta ( Pink ) color scheme prototype.... Maybe even in this thread.... I don't remember for sure where though. We only have a couple of those though and they could be gone while I am typing this....

Why not Pink? ( Oops, Magenta )
In all seriousness, the color thing was Chris and I joking... the magenta/blue scheme is nice too, and pretty visible during sequences too.
